Basic facts

 

Today we all did a basic facts test it was really hard but also fun to do because I have not done a basic facts  in quite a long time. When I was doing it, it was extremely hard but I kept going because I really wanted a good score and since I didn't do a basic facts in a long time I kind of forgot how to do it. But then I achieved a very good score and I'm so proud of myself that I got this.

Tech cooking

Today we had made sapasui it was very delicious and the way Mrs Hamer told us to make was very new to me because I had never made it this way.

First we got a bowl full with vegetables like green beans, onions, broccoli, capsicum. After that we chopped and diced the onions then nextly we chopped the green beans and broccoli into small pieces. Also we sliced our capsicum and then we put the onions on the pan and let that cook while we were chopping the veggies.

Nextly we got the meat and chopped that as well then we added ginger and garlic paste into the onion for flavour so that the texture will blend in with the rest of the ingredients. While the onions were cooking we had to clean the station we were working at because a chef always has to cook in a clean space, but after mrs Hamer said add the meat and the rest of the ingredients. 

Finally we had let the vermicelli absorb the water so that it could be cooked and then got 1/2 a cup of the water then added that with the rest of the dish even the water. After that we stirred and stirred until the food was ready then finally it looked nice and spectacular couldn't wait to eat it. After me and my partner were so happy to eat and we were so excited because it took so long.

Earth Science

 

This was very fun to make I enjoyed this so much I really want to make a quiz again for people to answer them and I know it's not that hard but next time I'll make it much harder. Also it was interesting because I learnt so much about the earth and how volcanoes erupt it's very fascinating.

Olympics 2020

 

This slide show was very fun and interesting to make because I had learnt new stuff about the olympics also  that to join the olympics you have to be top 15 ranked in the world to join and also the olympian Lisa Carry Teen has the most medals but Sophie pascoe the paralympian has the most gold medals. This was the first time the olympics was ever postponed and the next olympics will take place in France Paris 2024 can't wait to watch it but I enjoyed making this. 

Cooking red lentils and curry

 Today we cooked red lentils and curry and it took quite a while to cook because there was a lot of ingredients to add in. 

Firstly we chopped and diced up all the vegetables and the veggies we had were onions, spinach and carrots. When we finished peeling the onion we diced it into little pieces and cutted the carrots in half then diced those also. The reason why the carrots had to be diced into little pieces was because they take awhile to cook also we chopped the spinach.

After that we chopped the chicken breast then added that first with the onions but we added moist ginger to give it a little bit of taste. Then we waited and stirred until Mrs Hamer said ''add the rest of the ingredients in'' so we all added the rest of the veggies then putted the red lentils also the peas. After that we putted curry into it with a 1/2 cup of water then stirred and stirred until it was ready.

When we finished the food I had to go to the other cooking class to grab the rice off the other cooking teacher then we all got a little bit of rice and added our delicious curry to it and after we had to clean up our station we worked at.

Finally I enjoyed my yummy food I made I was so happy with myself because it tasted delicious but the thing I really didn't like was we only got to put a 1/2 tablespoon of salt so it wasn't really tasty it tasted a little bit plain.           

Basic facts

 

I am so happy today because I achieved 90% and I got 4 wrong which leaves me with 36/40 and I really need learn percentages and fractions because I always struggle with them. When I was doing the basic facts it felt easy when I was doing the place value and then it got a  little bit harder when it came to percentages. But then after that I was going to give up but something in my head said ''keep on going '' so I just kept on working hard to I got to the end.

I enjoyed making this, this was tons of fun making and it was kind of hard because some of my family members are dead so I asked my family what their fathers or mothers were. When I found out who they were I was so happy because I finally found out who my grandparents were and it's good to learn about your family members and ancestors.

Last week Friday we had made a poem in was tons of fun and a lot of excitement also it was very hard to think of a plant to do but I think these were very good plants to do a poem about. Also Miss Myers was very helpful because she gave me some very good ideas and fixed my mistakes. Also Miss Brandes gave me very good tips and I think these poems are very cool also I will love to this again because the excitement and joy in doing this poem was amazing.

Math strand

 

This test was very difficult and hard but I tried my best and last term I got 3A and this term I got a 3A I haven't moved at all but I ain't very happy with this score I think that I can achieve 4A. But all I need to do is work on my measurements and depth but I wish the others good luck with there scores. 

Basic facts

 

Today I had achieved 34/40 on stage 8 and I am very happy for getting 85% its very difficult to even get in the thirties but I kept on going to I had got a big mark. I knew I could achieve a amazing mark because I never gave up and I kept on working and working then look what happens when you put your mind to it,  but to get this mark I'm very ecstatic and glad to achieve 34/40.

Today we were learning about rights and responsibilities and as you can see these are all my rights and responsibilities, responsibilities are duties or things that we should do.Then rights mean something you are entitled to or deserve.

E-asttle Reading

 

I am really happy with my scores because last term I got 3A and this term I got a 4P so I leveled up twice and that's very good for me and I feel amazing because I don't really like reading but I tried and never gave up.

Snake game

 

Hey fellow readers today I was playing the snake game it is a tons of fun to play and also to challenging people and their was one person I saw that got 89 and I set myself a goal to beat that and what did I do, I got the win because I never gave up. When you set yourself a goal to become something or do something remember PERSEVERANCE but also it was challenging and extremely hard it took me quite awhile.

These were some very interesting facts about parts of the coconut and I love adding the pictures in because it made my slide pop out a little and also the facts were very engrossing and I will love to learn more about coconuts.

Chameleon

 

Today I created a chameleon word art about the stuff I like and my name it was so fun making and how it turned out the chameleon colours a very outstanding colours and they pop out. Also I like how the font stands out of the chameleon and the the chameleon looks very pretty and marvelous.

Tsunami Movement

 

Today I did a screencastify about how a tsunami is formed how the tsunami is caused also it was a totally fun making this video it took a couple of tries but I finally got it completed.

This took some time to make but it was very fun making but it was also very difficult as well but I never gave up and I just kept on going also I love how this turned out it looks amazing. When I was making it I love using the blocks  to make the human and I liked the waves bit because it looks very cool.

How can you convince the community of GIS to make changes in reaching our goal in 2025

 When the gasses go up into the atmosphere it creates a big bubble around the ozone layer and that could create a crack in the ozone layer and the sun has a more advantage to get in and that will roast all of us and we will die, although burning gasoline also produces carbon dioxide, greenhouse gas.

Climate change alters the life cycle of plants and animals and without plants we wouldn’t be able to live because plants produce oxygen and they take in our carbon dioxide. When people cut down trees, that's deforestation and where is the wildlife going? It's going to make houses and tables but unfortunately the animals' habitats are getting demolished therefore they have nowhere to live.

Finally, I think that people should start caring about global warming and start speaking up about it also we should reduce the amount of gases coming out of factories and protect the ozone layer because in 2075 the ozone layer might get destroyed and the sun could burn us to death.

Video games

Playing video games directly affects and impacts regions of the brain responsible for memory, spatial orientation, and information organizations. The study also reinforces the claim that, like exercise, playing games for as little as 30 minutes a day, can improve your life.

Should kids be allowed to play violent video games? Well I think they shouldn’t because games frequently affect the brain and furthermore cause changes in many regions of the brain, also violent video games increase aggression and decrease prosocial behavior. When people get aggressive or rage at a game then that could be why people's frame of mind can rot like an apple and also it could make a change in their  behaviour or mentality or become less intelligent. 

Research suggests that playing video games can change the brain regions responsible  for attention and cognitive skills and make them more efficient.  Also scientists looked and studied brain regions associated with the reward system, and how these are related to video game addiction. 

Do you want to know the causes and effects video games can do? Well addiction is one of them and can be described in several ways. Also addictions involve unhealthy attractions to substances or activities that disrupt the ability of a person to keep up with regular daily responsibilities. Video game addiction typically involves playing games eagerly for hours and hours- some people will play for about 4 hours and other people cannot stop playing, but playing games. When you play games non stop it can cause eye condition like eye discomfort, focusing problems, blurry visions and headaches.

studies around the world results show addiction to computer games affects  health and increases physical problems, anxiety and depression, while decreasing social functioning disorder.

How to do long division

 For example   75÷4        so firstly you see how many 4 are there in 7 there's only one right because if there was two 4 in 7 then that will be 8 and that’s over 7 so you can’t do that so obviously there will be one 4 in seven. After That you put the 1 on top and  then you do 4 x 1 which will equal to 4 right so you put the 4 in line with the 7 then you do 7-4 which is 3. Therefore you put the 3 down and then you bring down the 5 down and that will be 35 and then you do how many 4 in 35 it will be 8 right so you put the 8 up by the 1. After That you do 4 x 8= 32 then you do 35-32=3 and that will give you 18 R 3 because 18 x 4=72 and you’ll need 3 more to make 75 so that's why they do remainder 3 and this is how it will be setup.
